Ci metteremo parecchio a fotografarli tutti, però li abbiamo letti subito, sera per sera.

Both objects seem grotesque and surreal but are still afflicted with a strong political statement. Contemporary memorials. They refer to the oil war and to piles of rubbish.

In italian we say “hang shoes on the wall” Which means to forget about your dreams and give up your passions. But to hang something on the wall can also be a way to celebrate and declair the importance of it .

This is what i wanted to dissuss within the Edison prodject The conflict between the need to move with tecnology and in the same time pay tribute to the beauty within the symplicity of the edison bulbs design.

Valentin Vodev -Radio Valerie

There are no buttons or switches on the surface of the radio. The concept is to make a very simple and logical design. For example, to tune the radio-wave the user must turn the antenna left and right. The on and off switch, as well as the volume control can be altered by rotating the speaker.

Valentin Vodev -Soft Flexible Lamp

The concept behind this lamp is to make it as soft and flexible as possible. It uses a low-temperature and highly durable bulb that does not get hot like traditional bulbs. Unlike more conventional lamps, this lamp has a malleable surface. The cable is also very flexible & able to extend into a 230V electric socket, or standard lamp socket. The soft flexible lamp is also very light and can be placed everywhere, without fear of breaking on the floor and/or getting too hot.

Tien-sheng Huang -Lighting Dryer

This is a heating part in hair dryer, which also generates heat and light from metal wire as light bulb.

In this project, I kept the particulars from dryer and applied the shape from traditional light bulb, which are high temperature, strong blowing, smooth outline and lighting.

‘The Cocoon – Portable urban shelter for a homeless’ is a cardboard bed designed to provide a private shelter for the homeless. I wish the homeless come back to communities as wonderfully as the larva’s transformation into a butterfly, and become another good members who add to the richness.

perfect product for decoration and display. Nothing could be more suitable than dressing your wall with a “wall”!

Harry Thaler+Nicolla Zocca -Air Bike

Sofia is a concept bike that works with compressed air. There is a tank that you can fill with air by yourself or at the patrol station with a compressor. There is a simple air compressed motor with a trasmission connected to the rear wheel that helps the cyclist to pedal. You can control how much air to use opening and closing the red valve.

Krystian kowalski -S.O.O.N

The Something Out Of Nothing project recalls times when people would make and repair objects by themselves, with the materials they had readily available.
S.O.O.N is an attempt at reviving the creativity that lies in all of us.
Using inexpensive and easily obtainable materials (in this case the IKEA vika lilleby trestel), a safety tape, simple tools (a saw and a screwdriver) and instructions, we can all build a simple stool.

This is only the beginning of our independence!
A crisis is a good time for a change and a return to our roots, do we have to be mindless consumers?
